The Marks... Yes, I see the red welts on your bottom, raw and angry and tender, a reminder of your need, of how the pain drains your mind of its madness and fear, and brings you peace. Yes, I see the marks of the corset, tight against your skin, holding you back, holding you out, exposing each curve and withholding the ability to breathe deeply. Yes, I see these marks, knowing as only true love knows, that they pale against the marks that cannot be seen. The Other Poems~  "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this. Nice view of her marks on her right side does she have matching ones on her left side. Taking care after is important .

Great things never came from comfort zones . . Beneath the marks, is the learning, The understanding that the pain of changing is more fulfilling than the pain of not growing. There is no growing of consciousness without pain.
