Unclaimed Property I’ve been studying for a few weeks to add a certification to my resume. Anyway, during my studies, I came across this term, unclaimed property. It immediately made me chuckle. I kept thinking about it all day. Why was I so drawn to this concept? Unclaimed property: “[…] assets that have not been used for a length of time or have unknown ownership.” Then it hit me “because that’s exactly how you feel right now.. duh!”…Yes… Sad how much I related to this financial term. Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’m just trying to survive, to make it through. It’s been rough and I find myself constantly battling to not give up on my dreams. Tons of promises made to me have been broken. I’ve been unable to hold myself accountable. I’m constantly struggling to find the good… In debt, even with my own self. Unclaimed property is generally defined as a liability, owed to an individual after it remains outstanding for a specified period of time[…] Here’s my the thing. My value, my substance, my worth remain the same. It has not decreased. It’s just waiting to be claimed. I am still worthy, precious, valuable even when all I’ve been doing is trying to make it through. “UNCLAIMED PROPERTY HOLDERS MUST exhaust all options to locate the property’s rightful owner…” I need to make sure I’m doing my due diligence for my rightful owner to find me. I need to make sure that this property is taken care of and is being guarded properly. I need to stop doubting myself that my owner is looking for me. I need to stop thinking that I’ll never be found. I belong to Him. Wherever He is. My value and worth remain true… For now, I’m just unclaimed. tiara dreams~  "Men need to hunt. Unclaimed property is like forgetting your combination to a lock. Sooner or later I will remember it or with trying different combination will hit it.  "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this. She’s offering herself as prey. Not easy prey. But willing.”

So often we mistakenly think that our value is determined with and by others, which is so far from the truth... our value remains the same, claimed or not. And when claimed, hopefully, we will only add to each other's already existing worth and value. I hope we never forget that. "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this.
