Beautiful art, to be sure... Whenever I see art like this I'm always intrigued by the details. The choices the artist makes outside of the main message. For example, in this, I'm drawn to the rings and fingernail designs... Were they random? Was Ms Lee fond of wearing similar rings? Perhaps they reminded her of a previous lover or friend? I imagine the inserted fingernails to be just as long. Is she gentle in her self-love so as not to nick herself internally? Perhaps she is rough with herself in the way she would imagine her lover to be? So many questions spawned by the details. thank yo for sharing the art!
