A Few Things I've Picked Up Over The Years *Your eyebrows will never perfectly match, accept it. *Google maps will be wrong occasionally *Club soda and tonic water are not the same things *One day you’ll appreciate function over fashion, especially in the winter *Turn signals are a great way of showing the world you are not an asshole *Boss is just a title, it does not mean they are always right, competent, or even intelligent *The majority isn’t always right *Shake their hand firmly and stand up lard ass *Don’t respect your elders, respect everyone. *Expectations are just another word for disappointment *Self-care is not synonymous with narcissism or selfishness *Vulnerability is a superpower *Get out of your head every so often - read a book, go for a walk, pet a dog. *Sweat every day *Progress no matter the size is still progress *Get more sleep *Pizza will burn the roof of your mouth ¾ of the time *Say sorry *If you brush your teeth after dinner it lowers the chance you’ll snack before bed *A few good friends are worth more than a whole lotta money *Jealousy really does work the opposite of how you want it to *Set goals, keep them private, hustle hard, crush them, pat yourself on the back, and repeat. *Flexibility is grossly underrated *Life is about choices, try to make positive ones *More can be good… more travel, more laughter, more appreciation of your dental hygiene *Your view of life is directly connected to your view of yourself.
