How to measure for a Cock Ring Metal cock rings are made for intensity and powerful erections. They provide a tight grip that will enhance your performance and make for an unforgettable experience. This is one of the main reasons why they are so powerful and effective. However, it also means that you need to know the exact size you need to order, or else it wouldn’t fit. If you are unsure about the right size it’s best to measure yourself to find out which size fits you best. Do not order your cock rings without knowing your size. This is an imperative because it’s vital to ensure a good fit. Measuring for a Cock Ring One of the main things to keep in mind when choosing the right size for your cock ring is that it should be tight enough to provide a good grip for enhancing your erection, but also loose enough not to cause discomfort. The first thing you need to know is that the cock ring sizes represent diameters. Typically, cock ring sizes are given in millimeters, so you should ideally know your penis diameter in millimeters (or convert it from inches to millimeters). Never order a cock ring that is too small, though – the grip will be too tight and thus uncomfortable (and potentially dangerous). To measure yourself, you need to be erect. Your flaccid size is smaller than your erect size so it’s not the appropriate one for ordering a cock ring. This is why it’s important to be fully erect when measuring. When erect, take a measuring tape and wrap it around the base of your penis. The tape should sit around the bottom of your shaft, right where your penis meets the body. Record this measurement. For the best accuracy, it’s advisable to record several measurements and take the average. If any measurement is off (too large or too small compared to the rest), make sure to disregard it. The number you get with measurements is the circumference of your penis. Since cock ring sizes represent diameter, you will need to divide your circumference by 3.14. This will give you the diameter of your penis. As mentioned above, many cock ring sizes are given in millimeters (mm) and not inches. If you take your measurements in inches, you will get a diameter in inches. To get your diameter in millimeters, multiply your result by 25.4. This will give you your diameter in millimeters. Typically, it is best to order a cock ring of the nearest smaller size than your diameter. Never order a ring that has the exactly the same diameter as your penis. Similarly, you shouldn’t order rings with larger diameters. However, if your penis diameter is only a bit bigger than the first smaller cock ring diameter, the ring still might not be tight enough. Generally speaking, allow at least 5 to 6 mm (around a quarter of an inch) of difference. Your penis should be at least that bigger than the cock ring. However, this will depend on several factors (including your preference). Some men prefer cock rings that are 1 cm (around a half of an inch) smaller than the penis diameter. That being said, you shouldn’t go much tighter than that. Penis rings that are smaller than that will probably be too tight. Chances are that you don’t want to get a cock ring that is more than 1cm smaller than your diameter. If you wish to wear a cock and ball ring, you will need to take another measurement. This time, wrap the measuring tape behind your balls and all the way up around your penis. The goal is to fit both your testicles and penis inside the measuring tape. You need to be erect to do this, or else the measurement will be off. When taking this measurement, try to keep the measuring tape close to the body. Take several measurements to get your circumference. Again, you will need to divide his number by 3.14 to get your diameter. Just like with cock rings, it is best to order a cock and ball ring with a diameter a bit smaller than your own. Take several measurements to ensure accuracy. This will give you the circumference. Divide it by 3.14 to get your glans diameter. You will need to order a glans ring with a diameter a bit smaller than your own. Wearing a Metal Cock Ring Metal cock rings are surprisingly easy to wear, but you need to be careful when putting them on or taking them off. Keep in mind, however, that comfort doesn’t mean you can leave your cock ring on for too long. These sex toys are not suitable for a long-term wear. They are made to constrict the blood flow and make the erection more powerful, so it’s important to take them off after 20 to 30 minutes. It is also important to remove your cock ring immediately if you if you experience some sudden pain and major discomfort at any point. This is an alternative way of wearing a triple cock ring. Additional Tips In order to make the ring slide smoothly, make sure to use a bit of lube. Lube is your best friend: it will help you ensure comfort and easiness of use. You might not even need to go overboard with lubrication: simply apply a bit of lube to the inside of the cock ring. Many times, this is enough. If it’s still difficult to put on, add a bit more, and make sure to also add some lube on your penis. This should make it easier to put the cock ring on. It will also help you to position the cock ring correctly and without discomfort. Lube is your best friend when it comes to removing cock rings, too. This is particularly important if you need to remove the ring quickly because of an emergency. For this reason, make sure to always have the lube ready and near you. If it’s difficult to put a cock ring on, try to do it in the shower. The skin will be warmer and more relaxed. This can be particularly helpful if you wish to wear multiple (double and triple) cock rings, or a penis spine. While cock rings can be worn on the other points (higher on the shaft or even around the glans), keep in mind that the size you measure is the one around the base of the penis. In other words, said size might not be a good fit if you wish to wear the ring higher on the shaft or around the glans. Keep in mind, however, that there are special glans rings made to be worn around the glans, so you may order one of these if you want to wear your ring around the glans. If you wish to do so, don’t forget to measure around the penis head to ensure a good fit. It is always best to try a new cock ring for a bit before you intend to use it for sexual activities. It will allow you to get used to the feeling and to learn the best placement that fits you perfectly. Therefore, it’s recommended to test it a bit when you are alone and to use it with a partner later. Make sure to always remove your metal cock ring after 30 minutes (maximum). Ideally, you should not wear it more than 20 minutes at a time. Always allow your penis to rest before you put on a cock ring again. Learn all the warning signs that tell you there’s something wrong. The most common problem is that the ring is too tight.
