 I think people are (temporarily) feeling safe to be true to themselves more. But now that all out war on LGBTQ+ people has been declared, this percentage will go down. I used to admire Bill Maher but he’s turned into a grumpy, nasty, mean-spirited, bitter person. Why should he care what happens to gay and transgender children? (Or any children?) He has none of his own so he has no one to care about, no one to fear for. I have LGBTQ+ people in my life I care about and I’m honestly scared for them.

I will say that I do appreciate the opinion from Mr. Mahr. However, I'm also a bit of a cynic and at the end of the day, he's still works and lives in a bubble far removed from the you know, un-psychotic people. The cynic in me tell me he can see the shift in the wind and is playing quite a bit of CYA.
