Well Curvy, everyone needs a hobby I suppose.

But yeah, the easiest thing to do is just pass them by and find the good content. If they don't get the attention they crave then perhaps they will go away.

Vlad blogs . . . I still see an
incredible woman I met
through an interaction via
a Vlad blog, so when you
think the worse possible blogs
have no value . . Think again!

Not every blog is worth reading and less are worth commenting on.

The ones that are of interest I will respond if I have something to add, If the author responds to my message I will support the author and comment on their blogs.

I have seen authors respond to with a a smiley with thank you for your support yet members who posted a proper response dont get the same treatment.

Maybe thats why people dont support blogs

I frequent blogs from people I like. I won't read anything political. Im not here for that. I could watch the news if I were inclined. Reading someones interpretation of poor journalism isn't very appealing to me.

At the same time what someone wants to put in their own blog is up to them.
I don't mind giving someone the freedom to express themselves. I however reserve the right to not to read what they write.

Sometimes I'll just run across an interesting topic and stop, like today. If I see something silly, or if I've had some interactions with someone that was less than favorable I won't stop.

Good luck with your blog.

Everyone has an opinion and can speak but not all of them have equal value - it is our job to find what we value

hey curvy, I have a few bloggers who I watch, I'll usually check the new posts, if someone has a title that catches my eye, or someone that I know has something to say. If someone comments on one of my posts and has a blog, I'll usually check it out. My feeling is it's your blog, write what you want, but I just won't read it-in regards to, well, we all know who it's in regards to *L*

I agree, long ago the blogs were bdsm or sexually related. Now it's a chore to find them. We haven't posted much lately due to not being able to do much, but when we have posted it gets pushed off the main feed by non-topic posts. Along with all the other issues this site has it gets frustrating when a good blog doesn't get viewed.

Curvy

I too ignore the bad etc bloggers

I try to comment if I feel I have something to say....

Sadly, we cannot exclude some people from blogging

We need to turn our backs on those undesirable authorships.

That's exactly what I've done. I no longer click on their blogs to read their pissing contests or cat fights.

Exactly. It just gets tiresome .... Not as bad as Vlad, but tiresome none the less.

Maybe we could just leave politics out of the blogs and maybe you could just keep any and all political opinions you have to yourselves?

That'd be ideal, but they'd come back with the "It's my blog and I'll write about whatever I want!!!"

And, of course, they're right about that.

That they are, so I've learned to put them on 'ignore'.

I'm with the majority here.....just ignore the crap and patronize those that have something real to say.

If you don't want to see some, try asking, maybe they can fix that for you, if you can't find page 2, or 3 , or 4.....

You are right, it's a pity the blogs are not more about the lifestyle.
I guess its been more difficult to get things going in the last year. I used to read all
the blogs, but now I've learnt to avoid the political ones & others, fakes etc.

I've been on here a few years, but only during the last year have I started reading
the blogs. I was drawn here when I realised I could get points, but I always tried to
make some pertinent comment. I thick it's just so lazy to put, "only here for the
points," or "Thanks for the points." They stopped giving me points some time ago,
so stayed for the good bloggers.

Talking of good bloggers, I think a special mention should go to Aliljaded for most
consistently posting on topic. So often posting very interesting lifestyle pieces.

Well said. When I first arrived here I learned so much about the lifestyle from the blogs. If I'd just joined today what would I learn? That BDSM seems to be all about willy-waving and pissing contests!

It is no surprise that so many of the quality bloggers have fallen silent.
