Challenge : OUTSIDE In response aliljaded's challenge this week, I thought I'd add my effort. The attached photo is one I took while travelling in the USA in August of 2019. Not as pretty as the photo on the original challenge post, but one I'm proud of all the same. It was taken at the JFK memorial theatre, outside on the porch, of a distant electrical storm at night. While it is not the best of photography, it was taken with a phone, I had always wanted to successfully take a photo of lightning. Succeeding with a ground strike at night was a real bonus. I really like the layering of the clouds being shown by the strike. Feel free to comment. |

It was actually MineSirsSub"s challenge What a wonderful shot. I love the image. Well done. Just for future reference, if you want your blog post to show up in the list you have to post the first comment yourself. I'm not sure why that is, but it just is. Maybe you might want to name your blog something interesting as well. (besides "My Blog") You can do that by going into "edit my blog settings "(in the upper right corner of the page) and following the prompts Welcome to the blogs! "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this. She’s offering herself as prey. Not easy prey. But willing.”

Thanks. Likewise, there is something about the calm before being wrecklessly disturbed by the storm. I also love the smell of moisture and ionised air from just before the storm until just after. That night, we spent the evening over the border in Virginia where the storm hit many hours later.
