It really makes me wonder about the motives of some people. A little over a month ago I started getting views from an 18 year old girl in Newcastle, Australia. The members name was aric00, and the views became so often that I blocked the account.

It wasn't long after this that another account, 18 years old from Newcastle, with very similar intro and limited bio, starts viewing me. It seems quite obvious to me that it would be the same person. A few days of the same viewings and once again, I block the account.

It was about a week later before, you guessed it, another account with the same style of contents, 18, from Newcastle, starts to view me. This time I decide to wait until I see them on chat, maybe they are interested, maybe not. This time the account name was a2r1l1. When I did find the account on chat, I sent a message only to be given a decline. So, I did as anyone being stalked would do and blocked the account.

After a few more days, account name a213rl started doing the same thing. All the descriptors on the account are the same, again. So, today once again I try to make contact, only to once again get a decline.

So the question is, is this the work of alt trying to get me to burn up points? After all, every time I block, and it's a full banning, their ISP should also be blocked. Or, is this an idiot who has decided to annoy me, and alt's blocking isn't worth a dime? I think the latter.

What does blogland think of the situation, and what would you folk do? I haven't blocked again. Yet!

Eh, if you are just finding them in your *viewed* list and that is all, I would just ignore it. Perhaps they just want to perv your pic?

In the past it was even if the person rolled their mouse over your pic, it registered as a view. Add in the site bots and what they are set to do to get you all to burn points, we just really don't know. So if there is no actual negative interaction, why expend the energy?

Just in the viewed list doesn't bother me. If it is someone who views me repeatedly, I just use the block feature, as I do with the fake profiles. However, this one, each and every time I block them, they create a new account and start doing it all over again. This is the fourth account to do this, no photo, no detail. If this was happening to women, there would be alarm bells ringing.

I have also seen others claim that if you mouse over a profile pic it creates a view. If so, it becomes easy to be misunderstood.

I am not sure this is true, not having actually tried it. Let's check it out, I'll move my cursor purposely on your pic. let me know here if it registers a view.
I am not a stalker. Nor a robot.

There are no indications of you viewing me. I think most false views are generated by alt, once again, to get people to use up their points. They make it impossible to earn anymore, so I believe they are trying to remove all forms of free communication. You can't even send a friend request any more without paying.

Well, another view as per the screenshot in my first post. However, the account shows up nowhere in my list of those who have viewed me. Hopefully they have seen this blog post and blocked me. WOOHOO!

The rest of the accounts remain.
