Dragons tongue, Pt Vlll a romance novel. Once Bree was ashore she started pumping some of the many holes in the bank looking for yabbies to use as bait. Shona studied the metal detectors controls and managed to switch it on which caused it to immediately start blaring out its signal, so she tried adjusting the knobs at random to make it stop. " I can't get this thing to work" She said frustratingly to Bree, so Bree came over to help, taking the detector from her and restarting it and sweeping the ground, but it was still blaring out its tone. "It could be the wet sand that's making it up" she said to Shona as she experimented with the discrimination settings, then scanning around the area to find where the signal stopped. "There seems to be something right underneath us." Bree finally declared" " It looks like it'spretty big too".Bree said as she raised the coil well above the sand and found that the signal had not decreased. " It must be a treasure chest." Shona declared looking excited". "It looks like the lake must join the plain here when there's a flood" Bree said as she looked around and examined the fine greyish sand flecked with what looked like charcoal. " Well you'd better get back to the boat and grab the shovel."Bree said. "Looks like you've got some digging to do!" Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered! |
