Society was evil and they wouldn't let it out.

I continued reading the Holographic Universe and my thoughts would wander and things I found on the internet filled me with dread.
It seemed now that this book was one of prophesy and maybe even invention as its progress pointed towards there being a diagram on the final page of a contraption that couldn't be built back in the 90's when the book was written and it could only be theorized about how it would work.
It reminded me of when doc complained about the part he needed would not be available till some time in the future and Marty stuttered with the word sche-sche-shematics.
The book talked about the work of Bohm and the book he wrote and he noticed many things wrong with established thought and he learnt enough to make dire predictions about where the human race was inextricably headed.
One experiment Bohn liked was where a drop of ink was inserted into a fluid that was placed in a round glass container with a winding handle located in the center and you could wind it up dispersing the ink through the material and then unwind it to again finish up with a single drop.
This gave Bohm an idea of how the Universe could work and that every electon was accounted for and in its rightful place and if you knew the program that created the universe you could theoretically wind it back and forth.
He also put his thinking to entangled particles saying that from the Universes standpoint there was only one particle in two different locations and there was no need to find any physical connection.
Now readers in the present have the advantage of comparing thee findings to what we know now and some bright minds are okay with Bohm's assumptions.
They would add that the same game and plots could be carried out with a mutiple of different players and you're just one who inhabits your life.
A modern idea is that the universe that we know of is not big enough to contain the information generated by it, which points perhaps to a bigger space out there.
I will leave you with a direct quote from the book that to me is like the kind of poetic slant on technological garble used to good effect in a song. "Most mind boggling of all are Bohm's fully developed ideas about wholeness. Because everything in the cosmos is made out of the seamless holographic fabric of the implicate order and ultimately even the implicate and explicate orders blend into each other."

Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered!

While we wait for that contraption to be built we can gauge natures progress by watching the shee golfers on utube. The we can quietly slip into better place.

Being a golfer and a research engineer using physics to make reality.....

While a nice book and theory you are reading about a holographic universe, along with super symmetry, super gravity
string theory, variable speed of light related to the stretch (tension) of expanding space, blah, blah ,blah.....

We can't prove ANY OF THEM! All we can do is show that on the large scale, Einstein wins. On the small scale, Dirac/Schrödinger/de Broglie/Pauli/Heisenberg/Bohr win. The PHILOSOPHY of quantum mechanics is just that. Non-provable. Multiverse (with respect to the Chronicles of Riddick), Bohr, continuum, math is reality, etc...... Non-provable. Nice philosophy but not much more.

Sorry, I'm an engineer and it it can't help me make a widget, then it is nice conversation over wine and maybe fisticuffs.

Forgot, the women's golf photos are about?

The multiverse theory is just a theory without any experimental evidence, yes, but filling out that theory may tell us a lot about this universe.

My freshman college physics teacher once pointed out that two Nobel prizes were awarded in physics based on "trivial" possibilities in relevant mathematics based on theory.

The golf? What about the efficacy of movement. The transference of power from entity to a ball. Truly poetry in motion and it is also such that tangible proofs of weird phenomena exist. With a mind and spirit tuned to equanimity we become worthy to share the gift of enlightenment. Once I'd emerged from a stint in the forest I took a train journey and two girls flashed glances at me and made jokes amongst themselves. What were they saying I wondered. I did ask and one jokingly pointed to my appearance from living unshaven and with long flowing hair saying I looked like Jesus. From then my destiny was set. I would keep my hair long and wear interesting ornaments to add to my exuberant spirit. Did you mention zero gravity in there where matter becomes invisible to an electron? It doesn't just stop when you're happy with the way things are. Also I see another problem with how you may view the continuum, and that the variable concerned are infinite so your laws must be also. Infinite and interconnected. That was Bohm's warning that each least part affect the whole. He cautions us about our vulnerability. We should learn and not destroy. The natives let the giant Redwoods have their earned place to stand proudly. White men cut them down for profit. Thankfully not all of them.

I see theoretical physicists are divided about what's out there. Are some of us troubled by the size of it. Now that some are saying there never was dark matter then what is causing the expansion we've noticed. In a multiverse we could say that the different make up of matter doesn't contribute to an overall gravitational pull that could be ripping us apart. Personally I think using chance and sheer multi universes an unreasonable way to find an impossible number. Once the aliens decide to talk to us we may get some answers. On how to become multi dimensional travelers. Maybe the Nobel prize givers don't fully understand physics. What gets me is someone with 200,000,000,000 neurons firing suddenly deciding they'd be best to just go and walk around the Earth. Maybe doing that they've got time to think. Wonder what conclusions they reach by the end of it. Well the plan is bigger than them and when the machine (the brain) is complete it will switch on and it will glow with energy and become a new reality. Or a construct of unprofitable ranting which I'm already fond of.

I live very close to the launch pads here in FL. Every time a launch occurs I look to the heavens and wonder just what that big bang was like.

I envy you dream. I see trains like a computer game. Something so big and heavy that is hard to stop and it seems to sneak along and it's hard to gauge its speed. I'm saying we should ban them from carrying anything that could diminish their appeal.
