Not my Earth.

From what Clara explained to me about the history of the Earth they'd never gone down the fossil fuel path. They were totally unknowing about the vast underground oil, coal and gas deposits.
I knew then that multiple Earth's histories existed simultaneously.
This one had discovered other energy sources and had developed a completely different way.
So Clara's idea to go back in her own time wasn't going to work with my machine.
I suppose I had traveled to another dimension and I remembered that some theoretical scientists and astrophysicists argued that what the alien craft did could only be explained by an inter-dimensional time warp.
I wondered how we had the same language.
It was something I had to uncover.
Also the six barrelled gun tattood on her belt line.
When I asked her about it she told me about how in wild west possessive women would often shoot it out between each other as the effmaleinant males cowered away to avoid the fight.
I told her it seems that there must have been a role reversal in her history.
It was hard to get my head around it.
I borrowed a book from her and it had ads from decades ago showing how males role was to stay in the kitchen and be dutiful husbands;.They'd do the cleaning and took spankings from their dominant Mistresses when it was called for.
OMG, and males were real bitches.
Clara smiled amused at how I'd explained the world I'd come from and she laughed as ideas came to her.
She told me I only had to go into town after putting on something pretty as males were such show offs and I would be 'cat called' and whistled at by the Fem construction crews.
This was getting weirder and it was hard to take it all in.
I decided to go into town to find out if it was true and arriving there a<b> boss </font></b>bitch noticed me and called me over.
"Hey you look new, where are you from ?" She asked, then replied for me."I bet you're from the Wild east looking at your suntan!"
I gave her a nod greatful to not have to come up with my own story.
"Hey if your looking for work we've got a vacancy for a male maid right across the street, that's my place, I own it!"

Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered!
