The moon, and the birth of a business model.

It was just something I'd kept in mind to try to figure out one day.
It was way back in time and the World was naive about how it should work.
Democracy was thought to be worth fighting for and it was a pillar that anchored the good folk to a common goal.
But back to the moon, there was once people who made jokes about getting to the moon, and it all happened so quickly.
One minute we were playing with kites, the next it was a fanatical race to gain the advantage of rockets.
Diplomacy would skulk about its failures and it had to be proven who was in front.
A whole mass of money had to committed to doing this thing, and obstacles kept getting in the way.
I imagine that some time in the future the experiment will be done to see if that 60's technology can send a signal from the dark side of the moon to Earth and if film could survive the perils of space.
The money had to be seen to be well spent and worth it and I remember an astronaut defending the amount spent saying he didn't see much value on the stuff left on the moon so the bulk of the money stayed on Earth.
This was like the introduction of how things could work and how a mass of corruption could function so they all got their "palms greased".
The ears of high society were pricked waiting for more chances to put this new business model into practice.
Not just the USA either and I see on the news that the government of Australia put in place a complicated network of bureaus in place to absorb the thirty billion dollars put aside for Aboriginal benefit before it reaches them.
It was like the moon landing all over again and if there was critics about the waste of money you could ally their thinking by telling them "I didn't see thirty billion dollars out there" and the Aboriginals still lived meekly, with only sparse housing available.
Albo the prime minister was up to his cagey best, pussy footing around organized crime like no one noticed it.
It worked for the moon mission, why not for Aboriginal funding?

I watched wood girl make a long board. It's all about the journey.

a benign theocracy is so hard to maintain longer than a generation. Democracy lasts about 200 years until people forget character is important. Communism doesn't account for human nature. I guess it's pick your poison.

Thank you Boh, I think with the pressing problems to do with new dangerous technologies approaching us we're gonna find out soon enough if there's any "good guys" left to save us. I will write about how I think it all works soon enough.

Great writing,

I think, the state the world is in, the aliens dont wanne contact us.
If they are watching, or are even around....?

We are in a constant state of war, somewhere or an other.
R X ping - the R word, this planet.

How you mean, civilisation?

Maybe they are going to bomb/ kill us, peoples, to safe the planet?

Looks great, the WOOD girl at work.

Thank you Rosie, it's the kind of thing I put into my time capsules. Trying to summarize a crazy World.
Aliens taking over our world has been prophesied Rosie by (can't remember who) but aliens are being coy about telling us the truth about why they're here.
