Reading about the end times & Gog and Magog, and I realized I've seen a lot and had entered and exited an Existencial age without really getting involved in it. I said to the girl "You look happy in that one !" and she replied '"Oh yes I was happy right there, and it mainly due to getting out of that dump". The world seemed to have so much to offer but I would retreat into my mind, too scared to take my ambitions into the real world. It was going good and I even shocked myself at how mature I sounded. "You know those school pics really tell a story and I guess it was me that was responsible for having those two 6th grade photos." She looked surprised and no wonder as I'd kept what happened to myself. I pointed out the other photos with me and the teacher next to each other. There was the footy team one and school athletics one all with that teacher beside me. "He was a pervert!" "I reported him to the police and that's why he magically disappeared one day". I had no idea what the next school year would bring and the early coming of age that had me sitting in class listening to this gorgeous and petite female teacher striving for our attention. Sometimes she got cross and made us write stuff and I sat away from the class sporting a hardon under the desk. She had a thing for me too and so did other girls and one cornered me in an awkward position. I was interested in discovering what life things the girl at the reunion had got into and once it seemed safe I did ask. Once that was settled I sunk into describing the apocalyptic fantasy world I'd slipped into. I'd even built the machines I'd need to travel and defend myself with. I knew it sounded nuts and she smiled and asked if I still lived around there. "Me?, oh no it was the wayward and alone places that I sought, that provided the space and inspiration that I needed". Even got some of my stuff used in the Mad Max set. "Red dirt and sunshine was all I needed!" Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered! |

I read "the catcher in the rye" and got to the end and thought what a waste of time. Should have stayed with Robert E Howard and Conan the Barbarian...
