Having the right tools for a start !

It was that sort of place, but they were becoming rarer.
I'm talking about the "mechanics institute" or local mechanic and maybe in a movie like Grease you'd learn about hydromatic and systematic, and carburators.
When it all came down to it, it was all about the sound and I mentioned that to the creators at beamNG.drive and they put something together for me.
It was a splendid canyon filled place and cars that popped, or technically backfired and man those the reverberations coming back from those rock walled canyons was pure joy of the synthesized kind.
So we had that, and life started looking good.
That engine hammering to get up that slope was pure magic.
You could play this game on a hot day in your home whilst you enjoyed the cool air conditioned air that made those high mountain tracks seem even realer.
Yes life was good if you knew the proper way to do it.
Maybe get up early for the morning bike ride through the forested parts and give those legs a workout.
It was important to keep healthy and fit !
To get the day off to a good start !
Now with my shiny toyota parked in the drive and new license I had other options too.
The bass those car speakers put out was impressive too and the engine made its own contribution to my happiness.
It had that burbly raspiness when you revved it and felt like a computer game.
It also gave me the right to visit the mechanics institute and "chew the fat" with the locals,to sympathize with their grievances.
To learn their quick fixes too, that would set the World straight if only they were listened to.
If you could steer them onto the local scandals you may get to share news of the improper behaviors going on.
Scandalous things too that would rarely be mentioned by the cold sober observers.
Best kept quiet about unless you were pressed to "pay up" to match something intriguing that was worth its weight in gold if you used it correctly.
So I guess my ears were greeted with suspicion till I'd proved my 'responsibility' in handling that sensitive and potentially damaging information.
I viewed it more as something I could use in a story.
It was one of my favorite pastimes to read the comments online and it often impressed me how colorful the commenters were.
I came to love those terse and free spirited ones that some complained about. They'd come off second best perhaps in a real life scenario.
I then remembered the fear I felt when one of these 'bitches' inquired about my name.
That was too much for me!
My handle should be 'Mr anonymous' let them know I'm no fool.
But if they were in the mood to be stung by my sharp witt I may be generous enough to help them.
