Drat, Foiled Again Well here I am day three of the well planned trip.. Hmmm the best laid plans of mice and men. Still didn't get laid. One of the very few things I miss about MN is the abundance of good beer. Last night, I met with the man was supposed be last nights "conquest", we have known each other for years, we were football and beer drinking buddies.. He is so very attractive, physically... However, the reason we never hooked up before, was because my guard was up, he is very alpha, but not a true Dom, more of a bully at times.. and last night with the first left handed compliment, I knew we would not be having sex. I did try turn the conversation.. but finally came down him actually calling. At that point, I reminded him of I was, he left, headed for hell and enjoying the trip. I am sure he is convinced that insulting the devil is safer than insulting me. Sooo recap the weather and a cancellation got in my way, then a drunk woman landed in my lap.. but sloppy drunk is not sexy.. Then my old defense mechanism kicked in, not considering this a fail, more reaffirmation, that I can open myself up, but I am still me. I have driven 900 miles, enjoyed the solitude, reveled in what nature has chosen reveal me.. and still haven't gotten laid. Onward I go!!! Into the woods I go, to lose my mind and find my soul. |
