Thank you america...your bailout tax dollars will be paying for the new kc airport Just wanted inform my fellow americans that their tax dollars will be now be put work in my city... Yep the bailout will include billions build kc a new airport.. Huh??, Well see the citizens of kc didnt want a new airport...ours was no bells and whistles..no mall..no restraunts...but it was quick in and out..we liked it..its an airport for christs sake. Yet the mayor ( sly james at the time) demanded we get a new one or else...so the airlines agreed build it on their dime if they had complete control over the design and construction. Kc greedily agreed and voted on this agreement. Fast forward now and the project is a year behind schedule..isnt shut down despute it not being essential.. And you guessed it...the airlines will cry poverty and ask congress for a bailout. The citizens of kc didnt want a new airport...the mayor did.. He was trying turn us into a midwest Seattle complete with uber techies , hipsters and bird scooters littering our city streets. He wanting his shining star...a high tech airport so we wouldnt be seen as cow town. No doubt the 2 billion dollars it cost to build this airport will be included in this bailout.. Im not being smug...the taxpayers of kc legally voted not to put any of our into the project.. And there it goes..but so is your and yours. People see trump/ congress throwing around 2 trillion as a stimilus package..hell we havent even started...there will be airline bailouts, mortgage bailouts,big and small business bailouts, etc.. Something to consider when bashing trumps eagerness to restart the economy.. we will be trillions in debt. Business will be ruined. Unemployement is at an all time record high. Worse than the depression.. I really dont think the economy can be put on a back burner for weeks like that doctor suggest. And a 1,200 check over weeks barely buys food. Anyway the next time you fly into kc marvel at the high tech airport..yep kc is no longer a cow town..remember your went into building it. |

Sorry for the wonky blog..alt eliminated the word " to" from my post.. And we wonder why the us will be like 5 trillion in debt after this... Well here is part of the answer...2 billion dollars to paid for an airport that the airlines agreed to pay for.. I wonder how many other airports they had similar deals with.
