My safe space..the seattle edition I find it odd that citizens can literally chase the police out of an area... And the mayor calls them patriots and gimps for their cause. The gimp then claims those areas are a festival zone designed for peaceful protest..this isnt anarchy.. The police chief is equally weak.. they stood down and let protesters pelt them with bottles for two weeks before turning tail and abandoning the precinct. How the fuck is that policing? The cops claim they cant even go into those neighborhhods to stop crime.. But ofcourse this always has to be about trump and his tweets. The media just cant let it go.. So now this standoff isnt the protesters vs the gov/mayor/ police chief etc.. Its now seattle vs trump.. And in all reality seatle needs to get their shit together and go in with force and reopen those streets..its only shows how weak the government is Noone owns the streets. You try erecting fences to keep cops out of neighborhoods in the midwest and those motherfuckers will roll in with a tank. We dont play. Seattle you all are a bunch of bitches |

The Seattle mayor has essentially surrendered to anarchists. I wonder what would happen if some of those peaceful protesters decided to take over Microsoft's headquarters? Would Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella welcome the "festival" and give them whatever they wanted? Somehow, I'm thinking NO!

It wasn't the police departments call. It was the Mayors call to tie the hands of the police. The Mayor herself opened City Hall to these thugs. She continues to defend their rights for the "summer of love" as she calls it. A news article came out today that the City has brought in concrete blocks and have moved the six block radius down to 3, as if that helps. Funny though, the cement blocks were brought in for the "summer of love" thugs protection against cars running through their plastic barricades they first had up. Another Mayor in Olympia, Washington who also allowed for BLM to "peacefully" protest had her own home vandalized by said BLM "peaceful" protesters and now she calls what they did terrorism, yet when her constituents were up in arms of their businesses, homes, cars, etc being vandalized, stolen from etc, she told them they weren't being good little boys and girls and allowing for Freedom of Speech. I love watching KARMA. It makes for a good release when the laughter starts. Sidviscious13, as for your question about Microsoft allowing for the "summer of love" thugs to squat in their business, or to vandalize etc, I can guarantee you, you are correct, no way in HELL. I can bet you a dozen donuts that Microsoft has beefed up security, probably armed would be my guess. As for voting these Liberals into office, I know more people who didn't then did, however, KIng County (Seattle) and the outskirts of Seattle are the majority of the voters in Washington and of course, Democrats who mostly moved there from California, the ones sick of the Government there, but came here and wanted the exact same thing. Unfortunately, out of the 7 million Washingtonian's, about 3 million vote. A lot of rural areas in Washington that makes voting hard to access, lots of Agricultural areas that hire seasonal migrant workers and owners of said farming industry don't vote. They are too busy trying to keep their farms afloat etc. Washington has become the Junior California. The Governor, Jay Inslee likes to see himself as Newsom I guess. Thinks Washingtonians are stupid. We aren't stupid, we are up against one county making most of the decisions in the State. Each County is peppered with high numbers of Democrats that doesn't help either. More and more Californians moving into the entire State, but not leaving their political woes behind them and hoping they can make the "change" they were looking for here, but don't change their thinking. Sorry, for the ramble....
