Hot lanta and the blue flu

So with the ever increased drum beat
defund the police and a mayor that is anti cop..

The police decided
take the day off.
9call centers had
put people on hold for over 15 minutes because no officers were available.

Now some will argue...this is your job and you know the ris If you dont like it then quit.

But didnt some say that about nurses and the covid 19? Oh wait we would never say that about a first responder...they are our heros..

Funny cops are heros with the covid but not with the protesters??? Wasnt that like a 2 week turn around..

Apparently some would luv the cops
just quit in mass so we can usher in this new breed of officer...more community based..more andy,barney...( with no union,no protections, crappy benefits and at half the wage).
It really reminds of a pro team dumping all its talent so they can suck and get a higher draft pic..newer,younger..and cheaper.

But are they better? Or will there be tons of rookies running around atlanta.

Im seriously wondering who the fuck would want to be a cop.

And i seriously doubt getting a new jack cop for a new jack city...er getting more minorities onto the force would change anything.

Having blacks in positions of power like the mayor or police chief has done nothing to change their community.

Its not racism..its poverty and culture. I find it ironic that people assume you can just back the truck up and teraform the poor section of a city.
Give them free houses, free education, free loans whatever and that will magically end racism and uplift the community.

Or will it just become a community that feels dependant on big government and feels entitled more ..

The real problem is people assume all black folks are the same. If you hire more minorities to the force then they can better relate to the poor crime ridden parts of town. You then won't have racist cops.

But in reality black cops dont live in the hood. Alot of them in kc live in the nicer parts of town. They make a good wage and can afford nicer things in life.

So despite skin color what do they have in common with a crackhead or someone selling drugs to get by.
The black offer has never been arrested nor been to jail.
They arent living paycheck to paycheck.
Hell for all we know the black officer could have grown up in the suburbs with a 2 parent,2 income family.
Why do we stereotype all black folks as being poor?

So there still is this seperation. Hell if it wasnt a requirement to be an officer, most cops wouldn't even live in the city

Fairness demands a serious consideration of this assessment:
We've had over 20 years (a generation) of police who can better relate to the poor crime ridden parts of town. There is nothing new about this strategy, and here we are: nation-wide riots, professional rabble rousers inciting mobs, 100s of millions of dollars of damage, poor bankrupt cities inevitably whining for even more money due to the damage inflicted by their own supporters. This approach is not working.

If people cared about true improvement, and not simply accruing more funding and more political power, they would demand a new approach. But they don't, and the conclusion is unavoidable.

Lastly: people who destroy their own neighborhoods have no right to having someone else pay the bill for fixing it.
