Unleashing my inner leo..or i got yelled at home depot Now there is a difference between a karen... And a leo.. A karen feels entitled and thinks someone higher up will lick her clit..or what i call the pretty woman syndrome. My inner leo comes out when i feel like im getting played. Like..ohhhh helll no. Point in case..my roommate rents a cement mixer. She claims it already had dry chucks of cement in it when she rented it ( i.e. the previous renters didnt clean it out) I cleaned it as best as possible and tried to return it.. And the old white guy at home depot starts to bust my balls about the concrete inside of the drum. He calls back his manager. This cocksucker demands a clean up fee.. Okay at this point im thinking 10..20 bucks ? He charges me a 100 dollars. Wtf bro! I said fuck you..show me where in the rental contact it says this.. It states clean up to ...a 100 dollars... I told him in definite terms im not paying 100 dollars...fuck the plastic tumbler is maybe 50 bucks to get a new one. He told me that the clean up fee of 100 dollars could not be lowered..if that button is pressed then home depot is charging you the full amount. He had no wiggle room..its home depoits software. Huh? Really home depot I insisted i am not paying a full clean up fee for a rental that already contained harden concrete. Like bro i can grab a sledge a beat the fuck out of the drum if you'd like. Really i can. Im that pissed off right now My roommate had the mixer for like 8 hrs tops. I know the difference between new and old concrete. Im not stupid. And im really feeling like you played my female roommate about now..gave her a dirty mixer And no i didn't get played....after a few go around with the manager we worked our way around the rental fee to off set the cost of the clean up.. I ended up paying an extra 11 dollars. There are karens.. And then there are leos.. and fuck yeah i will pull that regional mananger card..you bet your sweet pussy Its insane to automatically charge 100 buck for clean up when the contract clearly states up to.. They acted like we fucking trashed their rental property. Its like the store manager has no option. Fuck big chain stores |

And yes there is a difference between a lazy mother fucker and one that hoses down anything dealing with concrete. The concrete in the drum was old AF

I won't waste my time arguing with someone that's making 12 dollars an hour. Call the store manager. I'm not going to let a flunky have control of the conversation or narrative . I'm experienced in dealing with people and resolving conflicts and sometimes escalating conflicts without losing my temper.

You rent a car and the car is meticulously inspected before it goes out. You rent a mixer and they don't even look inside to make sure it is clean? What happened to the last user? Did leo or karen just drop it off and say nothing about the condition? Your keran could have snapped a photo to document condition before picking it up or asked for a different one. Honestly, Home Depot owes you a tpta; refund for not providing a clean functional machine. This is like Lowes offering a brand new trailer but only as is as they are stored outside. What is this world coming to? Glad you called them on that and hope you take them to small claims court for a full refund. Do post it on their webpage to warn others of this scam. The blackest lie is a partial truth that leads you to the wrong conclusion.
