The nba walkout Now i know very little about the man that was shot by the officer. So i will do us both a favor and stfu But if players actually think staging a walkout will help the situation...bro really? The one nba player stated that he believe a walk out will force the owner.. then force the governor,congressperson,senator or whatever to move mountains cause.. Well cause... they are nba players..and they have..??? Well they are holding ...a season in a bubble Insert cringe and face palm Maybe someone should inform these players that they dont hold the stroke.. Ratings are down this year...fuck the nba ratings have been down since 2011.noone is watching these games I don't know anyone in kc that watches the nba. It's not even racism...the nba does a piss pour attempt retain the nba a white audience. And alot of folks are saying...well there goes the season.. And i say wow dudes without a televised season/ offs for you tokneel and display blm t shirts etc... How will ever get your out? Cause 99 percent of people care what sport athletes say social media.. I literally watched a nike commerical filled with black athletes w no names attached..no kidding being honest and im a sport's fan And despite the hype i knew serenia williams,.period...the rest are mike trout..the best player in the mlb.. And i wouldnt know wtf the goofy mother fucker looked like unless he literally dick smacked me in the face. I loved the nba during the magic/ bird/ mj era.. But with lebron? Could care less And in the end noone cares...we can live without sports..just look at the ratings...golf for christ's sakes is getting better ratings than lebron james and the nba. So canceal the season..noone cares..do you realize that that lemelo ball may actually be the number 1 pick.. That is how shitty the nba is now |

I used to be a huge Detroit Pistons fan until November 2016, when then head coach Stan Van Gundy (who was fired for having a losing record) said some very offensive things about Donald Trump. I prefer to keep politics out of sports and sports out of politics, but in today's NBA you either hate all white people or you're a racist. So, I refuse to pay any attention to anything that any NBA player or coach says or does until they stick to just basketball.

BLACK LIVES MATTER I am NOT a racist at all I have friends of all races and I do NOT see a person for the color of their skin but for the content of their character. There are good and bad people of ALL races on earth period, it is not the color of your skin that determines that it is the thoughts and actions that determine your character. The BLM movement keeps picking THUGS as their martyrs and poster subjects... and as long as they do... they will have NO support from me... Not that some changes are not warranted in the way police handle some situations.... but as long as the standard response to a police interaction by certain people is resistance, defiance and confrontation there is very little that will change. People need to accept the fact that in predominately black areas the numbers of interactions between POC and police will be higher than others that is just the numbers playing out. Also it bears mentioning that some 20ish percent of the population in this country is responsible for something like 70 or more percent of the violent crimes in this country so yes officers approach some people more cautiously than others. But the same thing I told my children still applies... if you are stopped by or approached by an officer, remember he is there to do a job, treat him with respect and comply with what he instructs you to do and A you won't get shot and B you very likely will not end up in any trouble at lease if you are not a trouble making punk anyway.... and My kids knew it would not be the police they needed to fear if they became such people. It really does not matter what color your skin is in fact more white people are killed by police EVERY year than Black people are... If you do as you are told and comply with the officer so he can do his job and move on if you are NOT who he is looking for... then you will not only LIVE / not be shot but you also will likely not run into problems with the police. Its when you act like you are the moron they are looking for that you begin to have problems and then when you resist and refuse to comply and make them think they have a reason to fear NOT going home to their family THEN YOU probably will end up TASED, HURT or even SHOT. I would respect BLM if they talked about the innocent black children dying by the dozens in cities like Chicago EVERY weekend. Or the innocent little girl killed in Atlanta by BLM or Antifa activists, over another low life that got killed for resisting and not doing as he was instructed. Start standing up for the truly innocent and maybe your movement will have some meaning other than Marxism.

First.....obey the law. Second, obey the lawful order of a police officer. This man was being arrested on a warrant .....had a history of violence and had a knife. Lastly, read the studies from Harvard and others. Black men kill more black men more than anything police do. As a minority, you are more likely to be shot by a minority police officer than a white officer. Buck the narrative that is trying to divide us. We are one nation, under God......the NBA can go screw themselves.....even while they enjoy the private protection police officers give them.

until the narrative is ALL LIVES MATTER, there will be division. I see noone decrying the children killed in Chicago. The 8 year old shot in Atlanta. BLM is a hate group......and btw, if ya think this country is soooo horrible n racist, i got some news for you.....you are free to leave! Or you can create and support a positive narrative. Not riot, burn and loot.

Like i said this posting wasnt about the shooting.. Rather nba players reaction to it. They will quickly find nobody gives a fuck if you don't play...we are in a pandemic for Christ's sake

I was never a basketball fan other than girls college BB.......i'm not missing one thing by them not playing.
