Corona..so you voted for change and got the same crap I blogged about the new doctor on the upcoming corona task force.. The man that boldly said we need to lock down the country for 8 weeks and that the government had plenty of , to cover everyones paycheck.. You complained that the previous administration controlled the message and influenced the cdc. The next day that doctor walked back his comments..he now claims he had no authority to speak on the upcoming administrations' behalf...( even though he was selected by them to be on/ run that dept) It seems like 2021 will be just like 2020 with politicans controlling the panademic instead of virus experts. Nothing will change .. The new plan...is the old fucking plan with gov/ mayors doing selective lockdown when out breaks are high.. Huh?.. it didnt work last time. So lets institute a nat mask law..... Huh? Tons of people already wear a mask and this shit is growing in numbers.. You voted for change....and i warned you....your getting angry old white -apist guy AGAIN. You've become the person you loathe the most. And we're stuck with same ole shitty plan. Plus both administrations are banking on a cure all vaccine.. And honestly as a 50 yr old white dude.....my ability to actually get the vaccine is atleast a year/ a year plus away. This isnt me being political. I am trying to point out the hypocrisy....finkle is einhorn...einhorn is finkle ( ace ventura pet detective).. We criticize one administration but not the next? Why not let viral specialist speak out? Why make them act like naughty school boys walking comments back? |

If you guys want to learn what works, look at what Australia and New Zealand have done. The two poster nations in the fight to control covid while no vaccine is available. In my state there have been NO community based transmissions in over a week. The only new cases we are getting are those introduced by people returning from other countries. These people are all placed in hotel accommodation for 14 days of isolation whether they are positive or not, and are kept there by military personnel and police. We're serious about saving lives, both the government and the citizens. The US has to stop having it's mini civil war, but that won't happen because Americans are so blinkered by their civil rights, they can't see the forest for the trees. So while people argue the virtues of which is the greatest nation in the world, my government has secured both the funding and supply contracts with several of the manufacturers of the worlds most promising vaccines to ensure every citizen will be vaccinated for free. You see, the greatest civil right, is the right to life.

Before praising Australia and New Zealand too strongly, keep in mind that COVID-19 is just one disease out of many. By locking down a country, you can often make it harder for people with other diseases to get treatment; and if lockdown lasts too long, you start running out of the money you need to run the medical system. Americans aren't blinkered by civil rights - they are key to the American way of life.
