Bathroom basement update.. getting sprayed in shit is not a kink

 Im starting to question the experience of this young plumber.

I have a sewage ejector in my basement..aka a pit where the poo goes until it's ready to be shot upward like buzz lightyear and into the main sewage pipe. (You have one of these " pits" with basement bathrooms.)

The two pieces of pipe from the pump to the main sewage line are pressure held together by this " clamp" ..

I never questioned it and it never leaked in 12 yrs

Dude boy comes in yesterday..gets sprayed with sewage...and so does my storage room that houses the water softner,the furnace etc.

So he tightens the clamp down...

Today the clamp leaked and sprayed again..

So he's bringing in his boss to access the situation.
