Kinda ironic that liberal nyc now requires you to show a vax passport in order to say go to a gym..or indoor business. Show us your papers...that sounds familure. With LA quickly following suit.. But wait i thought we were all safe as long as we are masked up...if not then why are we allowing air travel or say 80,000 people to attend a garth brookes concert at arrowhead stadium.. Is showing proof of a vax really keeping you safe..if im in a gym just with vax people...am i safe from covvid.. Of fuck no bucko...you need to keep that mask on So are we really talking about public safety or is this really a power trip.. It's trying to force people to get something they dont want...hmm thought it was my body my rite.. And im not against the vax. But im pro rites to your body. I find this a huge over reach of government. Claim public safety and trample over citizen's rites... Ohhh wait..that sounds eerily familure

Your entire treatise went insignificant with the "rite", "rites", "familure", "covvid", and "brookes" spellings. So it's your "rite" to not be vaccinated for polio, smallpox, etc.?

Firstly, your right, not rite, completely different meanings. So, your body, your right. Do you have the right not to be beaten up? Do you have the right not to be r/\ped? Do you have the right not to be murdered? Of course you do, and nobody has the right to do these things to you. Now comes the mask conundrum, does anybody have the right to give you covid? The vaccines will not stop you catching covid, they're not designed to. Their function is to prepare your immune system to better fight the virus and lessen the impact, thereby preventing serious illness or death. Unfortunately, some are unable to take the vaccine for various reasons, call them underlying health issues or whatever. Now it would be prudent for these people to avoid places of high transmission such as gyms, but almost impossible to avoid people who go to these places in their day to day lives. Given you may be vaxed and safe yourself, you can still catch, carry and spread the virus, which may inturn infect, and possibly kill the unvaccinated. So, just as you have the right not to be murdered, do you have the right to murder by such a fashion? Unfortunately too many see everything that's happening now as an incursion on themselves, whether they're vaxing to protect themselves, or feeling that their own rights are being encroached upon. What our governments are trying to do is have us think about our fellow citizens as much as ourselves. It's simple pigheadedness and lack of understanding that is exacerbating our problem. If we all just did what was necessary, we would quickly beat this thing, then we could get back to practising our rights. Sometimes you just have to do what's best for the community, not yourself, regardless of your beliefs.
