Gay teachers... and dont say gay See below |

I'll preface this by saying..duh im in the lgbtqchrisrockxyz squad.. And no i dont want any teacher talking to any student about their personal life... Whether thats straight,gay,bi,poly,fluid,whatever. Your luv life needs to stay at home. Your a grown ass adult..kids dont need to know..you dont need to share. Imagine if another school employee walked up to your child and started to talk about their personal lives.. Like wtf people.. Then it's sad when these people play the victim card.. Omg..you work at a job where you cant spout your beliefs...you cant be yourself Fuck pal...welcome to the real world. Hell i cant drive around all day in a gimp suit...so why should you be every color of the rainbow in your class. How does your " rite" to be out top my " rite" to be kinky... Isnt my kinkyness a part of me as your gayness is to you.. Then these poor gay teachers whine about what will they tell the kids when they ask questions.. ??? Well yeah your displaying personal pics on your desk.. How about you dont bring personal pics to a workplace and kids wont ask. Listen i could put up a pic of me trimming a christmas tree.. And wellll kids are...gonnna ask.. Sooo i thought it wonderful that i share the message of... Jesus Christ.. I mean they " asked". Yeah i felt it necessary to share because..wink wink..they too might be closeted christian.. And i could be their safe space. .we could start a school club..call it the friendship buddies With parents being so bigoted,closed mind and anti religion. I just felt the kids needed to know. Yet i ( if i was a teacher) would be fired...and wasnt i just sharing a part of myself..my identity as a christian..why should i have to hide that part of my life.. And duh i know all about seperation of church and state.. but its not illegal if said teacher talks about many faiths Face it i just used the gay teacher argument and gave it an ironic spin. And where does it stop...i can see the lawsuits coming.. What if the teacher now wishes to share with the students that he has two wives or is poly with 6 men or has a wife and a boyfriend. Why should it just stop at being gay I never understood the need for gay people to literally dress like a rainbow.. It's not gay acceptance...it pure drama.. Listen im about as queer as any of these gay teachers.. But my sexual orientation doesnt define me..it isnt that part that must put dancing gay bears on my car.. And it's not something to share with 3rd graders.. Listen you dont want teachers broaching other subject matters in the classroom like religion,politics.. Then why would you want a teacher talking about their personal lives with students.. And im not even talking about who they are married to..i mean any personal details.. We already have too many p edo teachers in schools..

My point on this issue is simple.. Just stop..this isnt about schools trying to hide your gayness.. It is about you as a teacher..need to stop acting like a pseudo parent. Let parents be parents and decide when certain subject matter is appropriate for their child. Show me another profession where people try to be a kids parent...certainly not the police officer,nor the garbage collector,or the politician... Yep some cop is gonna roll up to timmy today and tell him about his boyfriend.. Cringe AF for a cop..why not cringe AF as a teacher? And if you read the florida bill it does say " gay"..it says no talk on sexual orientation etc to k through 3rd gade.. Which..duh also includes a straight woman talking about her up coming wedding in the classroom. And as a member of the lgbtqhansandfranswewillpumpyouup club... I couldnt agree more with this bill.. Lets be real...how long would you last in a business if one of your employees constantly talked politics,religion,his sexual orientation with the clients. Why is this scoffed at in businnesses but not the classroom

Sometimes to teach one needs to give context, and in so doing sometimes one needs to share personal information. I guess it depends primarily upon the subject matter.
