Okay being completely serious for a momment.

I have lupus..

I have never discussed this topic in my blog..but i suspect i had the disease since i was 13.

I...felt like it wasnt a big deal. I get an occassional flair up...
But i never experienced any of the real side effects.

Besides this is mostly a woman's disease..esp a women of color..

So they dont need me as their spokesperson

I get the telltail butterfly rash on my nose and cheeks.

But this only happened maybe for a day..or two.
And it dissapears

To let you experience what lupus feels like..

Imagine your an old timey vampire that heads into the sunlight..and your skin burns..

Yeahhhh something like that..

No joke imagine getting a bad sunburn..that is how my skin feels in a few minutes outside.

Mind you not all my skin..just on my face where the lupus flairup is happening.

But i never made a big deal out of it...

Plenty of folks have it worse.

And then...yeah...
This year i started to get a really bad eye strain in my left eye and noticed the flair up not only begun..
But has moved down my lips and to my jaw line..

No doubt the worst flair up i ever had..

And it's okay to laugh...

I literally look like the joker..that drank cherry koolaid

If the joker now had red, dry, sensitive to sun light skin.

And even then i consider myself lucky...

Lupus is a real bitch that can affect alot of your organs.

I dont know if this year is a fluke or signs of what may come.

There is no cure for lupus...some meds..

But they say its best to weather the storm and let the flair up pass.

Avoid sunlight
Avoid stress
Avoid halogen lights
Eat well,get rest..

So i sit and wait.

And im not looking for sympathy..

Just sharing a part of me that i really want to let go..

By hey..on the bright side..
Im the closest you'll ever get to meeting a real life vampire..

And if you can stomach the might be hell of your boy..

Google sle lupus..

It's quite the bitch

Being honest...

This flairup is scary AF..no doubt the worst ever..

And i just gotta role with it...

I may come off as indifferent...well lets try dick at times..

Like there is this amputee chick on youtube that whines about certain issues concerning her condition.

Im that dick that comments.

Your 20,your hott, your wearing panties in your vid..
Alot of dudes are into you.
Stop being a victim..stop making money from a preceived handicap.

Try walking a mile in my shoes..my skin burn from just being in the sun. My skin appears red,dry,flaky..
This skin is on my face.

You are not a victim..i suffer from lupus..

And yeah lotions, sunscreens only made that skin a brighter shade of red
