My roomie was thrilled that her car was finally paid off.. And had plans for that additional cash... Then joe biden happened.. And all that extra cash? It's gone.. Thanks to increased food and gas prices

Even though Joe's Build Back Better plan didn't pass, I don't know of much here in this country that is better. I'm still waiting to hear the Dems shouting praises to him on what he's doing, and for some reason, I haven't seen any one wearing BBB hats. You won't hear any Dems eating crow for the choice they made, but going by the poll numbers, you can sure tell they aren't happy with their decision. Hind sight is always so much better. I'd sure like some 2 buck gas and some mean tweets right now.

*Oil and Gas price gouging Bill* Dems 217 Yea Repcons 203 Nay Highest profits in decades for oil and gas companies published for first quarter 2022. And over 130 congressmen ( even a few Dems) own stock in oil and gas, why would they want to see prices drop? Last administration sent the “Kush” to Saudi to get them to reduce oil production by 2.5 million gallons a day, A DAY, BECAUSE AMERICAN OIL CANT MAKE PROFITS WHEN OIL DROPS BELOW 50 Dollars a barrel. Then demand dropped when covid hit and people stayed home. Now demand is up but supply is not. Oh, and there are 9000 PRIVATE oil fields standing idle in US . Big corps working to blind the little guy by blaming Dems. Ignorance or prejudice, either way , get the facts or sit down.

Wow, did you all flunk civics and history? It appears so. Hmmm..... Thesis: the president controls prices and wages. You remember that the president only SIGNS/VETOS/DOES NOT SIGN laws. It's congress that makes the law. The president carries out the law that congress makes and spends the money congress tells him to spend. So, your thesis is just plain WRONG! There was a short time under Nixon when he tried to control prices with congress. Mixed success/failure. At this point, details are needed. Congress does not control prices either (minus the Nixon experiment). It's YOU that controls prices and wages.. Supply and demand? The FED helps and can really fuck it up or not. Blame Biden because your dog died. Go ahead. That communist nazi is the cause of all your troubles. Anybody see my joke here?
