It seems like alot of white folks be answering for black folks in my comment section..

And it makes me sus on how black folks are treated in your local lifestyle.

I know in kc poc arent given the grand tour

We are here but choose carefully who we interact with.

Making any public statement / interaction opens up the "invitation" for "some" whites to directly engage us. For example, I know I will get a load of inappropriate messages just for responding to your blog.

Alt is not colour blind but actually has a range of non-white US individuals using it regularly (often who are active outside of "core" US hours). Whether alt's algorithm promotes those interactions or not is not for me to say.

So if your question was asked in good faith I would suggest the answer is somewhere in:
1: You are not of interest to the people of colour in your area; hence we don't engage.
2: Your hours of interaction is different to those of the PoC on this site; so neither of you see each other.
3: The PoC on this site get what they want from their current interactions and see no reason to raise the head above the public "parapet"
4: A simple lack of attraction, many PoC are only looking for PoC; like many whites only seek other whites. I *personally* use alt to talk to others and share ideas before body fluids. If someone is here using alt as a "dating app" then they will be looking for what appeals to them. Not everyone matches.

I have answered the question in good faith as I believe that is how we all *should* behave. If you were using it to "score points" or "troll" then forget 1-4 above; if you are being an asshole do not expect anyone to come play.
