Red flag laws..and are they really constitutional Okay see below |

First off red flag laws arent really meant to stop school shooters or domestic terrorist... They were meant to stop domestic abuse.. Fair enough.,a woman calls the cops and claims.,x,y,y.. And they need to come over and get his guns... Which might sound good.. And I'm not a lawyer... But as a citizen..I wonder where is the court warrent to search his house.. And what is the probable cause...what law is being broken? And i get if a nutter said he is gonna shoot up a school. But in a domestic..It's easy for her to accuse him.. And bamn...the police arrive..search his whole place.. And then take whatever.,despite it being legally purchased and owned..esp w a cc.. And the appeal process..takes forever.. With no charges ever brought.. It was meant to stop school shootings.. But 90 percent of the times it will be about abusing a man's legal right to own a gun.

Those laws are just another thread of the growing web the "progressives" are trying to catch all of us in. Where is a flame thrower when you need one?

Women crying wolf is an age-old thing. But guess what? So is spousal abuse. Do some digging and see how many women are shot by their partners, ex-partners, and jealous lovers. The research how many have been killed AFTER they try to get a court order. I read news articles about it happening a few times a week, and that's just the ones that make the news and are in my various news feeds. Guys want guns, but not all guys should have guns. Gun control isn't about taking guns from RESPONSIBLE gun owners, it's about keeping them out of the hands of dangerous people. No one has ever proposed that you can't hunt, or protect your home. It's what you use to do it and WHO gets to do it. The US has more gun crime than any nation in the world and the most lenient gun laws in the world. Other nations have proven gun control works. US gun owners are just too stubborn, and egotistical to admit there's a problem and compromise for the sake of lives.

My point is one doesnt automatically cause the other.. What's next..the husband drinks so let's confiscate his car.. Also I used the spousal abuse example...but it also can be applied to self abuse...say you tell someone your thinking about suicide.. The cops under these laws can take whatever weapons they want and put you on the no buy list for a gun.. Which in turn will lead to less men seeking help

How are the drug laws working ? They do not the bad people still have drugs. More gun laws bad people will still have guns. They need to look at other ways.
