I ask this because we have Tolkien..

And then we have Amazon buying footnotes,scribbles on a page and thinking...

They can create their own prequel...

And despite a team of professional writers..

And a billion dollars..

It is

Cringe.

So i wondered which great scribe appeals to you

screenwriters are never as good as novelists. That's why they don't make the big money writing novels and hack for TV and Movies, butchering novels that are "adapted" for TV and movies.

I will simply say noone beat me more over the head like nicholas sparks " a walk to remember"..

It's like seeing that mfer wind up..

And then

Just ends the chapter.
.leaving the reader and the cool kid feeling empty and an asshat.. to me it's so chandler bing

I'm also a big fan of Herman melville,John Steinbeck and Lois Lowry.

I wonder how many kids today even read things like..

Yet throw in some tits and ass..a funny midget..alot of blood shed..and fucking dragons..

And we think that passes as great writing.

Read Moby dick or reread it...imagine yourself suddenly on a whaling ship..sharing a bed..literally with a tattooed headhunter,with a crazy? Captain dead set on hunting down the scourge of the sea..
