I really don't want this episode to get political. But let's be honest... Twitter cooked It's books,lied to shareholders.. And wasn't as well off financialky as it seemed. So why would anyone buy a left leaning company that isnt doing well...for 4 billion dollars.. I doubt it has anything to really do with getting certain banned people like trump back on the platform. I doubt if it has anything to do with offering a fair and balanced social media site. We all know what this is really about.. It's about the other sites being afraid to pull the trigger.. And Elon bringing the whole kitchen sink...literally. The future of the internet will shift from advertiser based ad revenues to customer subscriptions.. Elon already tested the waters with the trolling 20 dollars a month for the blue check mark gag.. And people like Stephen king bit on it hook, line and sinker. But in all reality...yes people will pay for the priveledge of being a part of a community.. Look at disney...the prices keep on going up and these people keep on paying..cause they see themselves as part of a group,a society,see going there as a must have.. No matter the cost. Look at how many women have to get Starbucks coffee...is the coffee that good..or is it about the status of walking around w a Starbucks cup And yes..just like online video games... Sites like Twitter will offer buy ins....where it increases your status to have certain features,things.. You laugh now...saying no way in hell you'd pay money to be on twitter.. And then your kids will ask for you to pay 5,10,15 bucks for them to be on the new social media app.. The one all the kids are on. A man doesnt walk on a car lot unless he wants to buy a car.. Elon musk doesnt pay 4 billion dollars for a sagging company unless he sees dollar sign.. Elon musk wasn't swinging that big sink..er dick..to troll twitter employees.. He did it to show us... This is what is coming.. Yet your the ones that cheered when you cut the cable And then spent more on all these streaming services subscriptions So is elon a dick...or really smart

Musk got forced into buying, he tried to back out. Maybe he can turn it around, he's a generational intellect, but I think this one goes down the tubes.

Most of the ones whining about the eight buck check mark are the folks who can most afford it. The snivelling is because now they have to pay to be speshul. Makes no never mind to me and millions like me. Just happy he tossed a few thousand thought plice karens.

First, All true A type people are dicks. That is why lawyers wear a tie, hold back the foreskin. He is trying to sell an $8 a month membership. You pay to not have ads and to enjoy "freedom" of speech. You pay for tv, the phone, netflicks... I see where he is going... 10,000 people paying $8 a month is 80,000 a month...But there are 450 million users of twitter a month. If 1/4th of those people buy in. He pockets a lot of money...

Elon Musk is a Trojan horse. He is put out there as a champion of the people...while in the meantime he is working on and perfecting brain implants (neuralink) and putting up artificial intelligence satellites that will track and trace every man woman and child on the planet. He is evil in my opinion.

If someone offered to buy Alt, they would discover, like Elon Musk did with Twitter, that the website is overwhelmed by fake profiles, scammers, bots, and the like. If Alt were to purge this site of all fakes, scammers, and any profile that has not been used in the past three years, I'm guessing close to 90% of all profiles would be gone.
