Fyi to those foreign readers..

In the state of Missouri there is a bureau of tobacco fire arms..and liquor

To which the city of kc can further restrict alcohol sales/ regulate them..

And yes some divisions in said greater kc can futher restrict alcohol sales..

So i was correct in legimately not knowing if it was legal to scan my own alcohol in a walmart self service line..

And here Are their actually replies to this question

The guy from the Missouri dept of tobacco, firearms and alcohol...
Was a fast talking sob..

I'm a fast talking motherfucker..

And he out talked me??

And I'm not stereotyping Midwest country folk..
But..

This agent said..Missouri doesn't care if you scan your own alcohol..
All we care about is no...
( I shit you not)

Pe...dos are serving alcohol..
( his actual words)

Kansas city licening bureau of alcohol was not better..
The guy liked my moxie..he actually laughted and said self check out is a " grey area"..guess the law hasn't caught up to that high tech..

( high tech?...you mean self checkout lines)

And the subsection of kc where the w almart is located..

The city clerk agreed with my concept that I can't sell alcohol to myself cause I have no license..via the self serve lane..

But researched it and said their city charter didnt cover it..

So it make me really wonder if Missouri has alcohol laws to actually control the sale of alcohol..via issuing licenses

Or is it really about keeping pedopuffers from selling it,.

Either way..w almart is technically right..just wondering how they'd feel when I jumped into the full service lane and then stopped the cashier from ringing up my alcohol..
Insisting..I got this...
And ringing it up myself.

Yeah, VA is the same way. You can't sell yourself alcohol, but self check out is a gray area [???????WTF?????]. NOW, FUCKING TOBACCO, the customer definitely cannot scan themselves. Alcohol? Gray...... fucking asholes. I hate blue laws. It has only be recently that we can turn left on our own. And that is still at a few certain stop lights ( new ones to be exact). Treated as a child at my age..... VA can go fuck themselves. Yes, CIA, FBI, NSA, I just Governor youngkin to go fuck himself....... come get me assholes!

Local w mart in Texas you can scan your own beer wine...whatever they sell BUT the self scan kicks it out and a supervisor has to come check your id and ok it. Tobacco is kept behind the counter only and they card everyone. Other items kick out also like glue, paint, bb's, pellets, knives and hatchets etc.
