Just curious if you need tons of research or experience from an author to enjoy a kinky story..

What level beyond basic do you feel is adequate...

Or should the author just avoid certain lifestyle topics..

I ask this because I did a little research on subject matter for the Kyle story...in this case it is a Lady's high tea party.
Kinda funny how fetlife was a huge help...

And not only did it provide the correct atmosphere, background, costumes and yes menu...

But it included participants actual comments

Seeing how " kyle" will be a short story, I feel like I got enough research to accurately capture the scene..
..
I can write the story vicariously..

But on the other hand I feel cheated as a reader if someone writes a ballbusting story...

And has never experienced the sensation ..giving or receiving...

Now you might say...hold your horses leo...didnt you just say your writing a story vicariously..

Yes...but I also am submissive, know how to serve, know how Kyle feels because I'm basing him on a younger me.

Just cause I haven't been to buttfuck Iowa doesnt mean I can't Google it and then put it in a story..

By ballbusting..I'm talking about that fetish being the driving force of the story.
You bought the book, story not for the story or hero..
But for the fetish..
Your reading the story because your either into it or have huge fantasizes about doing it..

Like I would never attempt to write a story about crossdressing.. unless I did tons of research, interviewed people that do it or perhaps tried it myself.

Ballbusting...which I'm into is just different than say actually attending an event as a sub and serving.

I feel it involve two different levels of research on an author's part..

Your thoughts..How much research do you need for a kinky story
