Strict D ommes in writing...does it appeal to you See below |

I ask this question because yeah.. I can write over the top Femdom fic...like the one story where the Woman actively searches for a male to be her " dog".. Yet what " dog" means in the city versus what " dog" means to the small town where she grew up.. Is very different...and surreal.. So she packs this male up and drives home.. Hoping her mom,the neighbors...yep a sweet older couple jumps in.. Can properly train the male. Into a complete dog.. I feel like this story basically appeals to a male..sub male audience.. Women aren't gonna like it.. But if I write a soft Domme/ sensual Domme story about Jane lunchbox Domming hunks.. I lose the dude audience.. Not saying women can't like extremes or dudes enjoy sensual Domination scenes.. But it is what it is.. I'm budlight..write one way..lose an audience..write another..gain an audience

whilst @BDSMDomDaddy's view point that men are always Superior may be valid in the groups he associates with; it is not everyone's view. @likesmatures ; write what appeals to you. It will land well with a certain audience. However, you cannot make it appeal to everyone. No point writing gay fiction when trying to appeal to a straight audience. What I would say is don't write soft roles if they do not gel for you, badly written fiction does not appeal to anyone. I fear that if you write a soft female Domme role because you are trying to appeal to x/y/z the what you will write is laclustre and doomed to miss all marks. Good luck MBD
