 Isn't that pretty. As child my dream was to live in a bamboo forest with a old school Japanese house with a rock garden, my fish pond, and practice karate all day. Probably from watching lots of Japanese movies.
It's hard for an American to be accepted in Japan except in the big cities like
Tokyo, and then, it's limited acceptance at best.
However most Americans love everything Japanese.
I live in the country also and the forest is right past my back yard.
