Friends ...? First off, no i am not new to the lifestyle, just an old name. i dont claim to know everything either. i am learning who i am and i am feeling very happy for what i am learning for the last 5 years. --- i know someone who sent a friend message to someone who was busily complaining about how "all these guys just want to have sex." i know from personal experience He is very capable of being a friend withOUT benefits. (yes, i read the entire exchange as he forwarded it to me) He received a reply! Yay Him ... it said, if she had wanted to be His friend she would have reached out first. Now this attitude perplexed me, presuming that it was wrong to say Hi and suggest getting to know someone. And that SHE would be the person doing said activity - to quote Dodgeball "that's a bold strategy Cotton" ... what if He didnt want to be friends with her? should be then send a reply telling her He would reach out first? I don't know how that process would ever work, so here is to hoping she only partially crosses the road - as she contemplates the chicken and egg. To add to the comments in your post. it is true not all guys are just here first off for sex. I will say, that people that do come here, understand what the site is to some degree. Some follow alts marketing that it is an easy access sex site. It did not start that way. Some came here for information, Some came for a sense of community. Sadly many of those folks have left when alt changed a few years back. Some came for that and to make friends and possibly connections. Myself, when it comes to connections, I seek to be friends first. One never knows where friendships will lead. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"
