 Well this is my return to alt. Well not so much I have been on and off for the past month or two but this is what gets me to make a blog post.

On my IM Cam chat. One of the few sure fire ways to get around alt's system of chatting with people and low and behold I get a bite. This one was rather odd, but eh what the hell. Lets see what this is about. For lack of better term lets call this person "pearl"

Pearl views my cam starts with hello how are you doing the basics. I generally respond with not much and then this little nugget appears

Pearl "My name is ________ I'm new to this site, and looking for my soulmate, someone serious for a long term relationship, and how about yourself "

I tell her this is not your average dating site and the next one pure gold

Pearl "Well, actually a friend of mine who introduce me to this site, where she met her husband, they are now married and having a child. So I decided to give it a try"

Are you into BDSM at all?

Pearl "not really"

She then gives me her hangouts email - well then lets fire up one of my alternate gmail accounts to investigate. Sure enough sends me scammer photos. I Immediately confronts this scammer with oh you are not the same person on profile pic.

Pearl response " Oh my friend set up this account for me."

Me Right..... I do a reverse image search and immediately send it to Pearl.

Pearl " oh people have been stealing my photos I don't have to prove anything to you."

Well you kinda do if you are gonna lead me to believe this is you. I have now seen 3 people who dont look the same and you really think im gonna believe you. Nah go look for someone else dude.

What an odd way to go about looking for a soulmate on a BDSM dating website and not be interested at all. Well I think this one forgot this wasnt christian mingle.

 Well, having been a similar situation twice before I understand exactly what you mean..

It really is totally baffling what they have in mind. . . and what they think they will gain.
Takes all sorts in life I suppose.
