Perhaps you may take a look at the Trump years and how this mass invasion was in decline. Love or hate the man, his policies reduced the illegal alien influx.

Anytime foreign governments have upheaval, like there is now, there will be an influx of immigrants headed to the US. remember the US? The land with the American Dream? The land that said give us your sick and tired?
Republicans didn't have ancestors that originated here. They all came from another country.
America was BUILT by immigrants. And they have always been willing to fill the jobs that NO ONE else wants to do. How many republican stiff shirts are going to go out and pick lettuce or work the orange groves? Why do you think there are so many entry level jobs that can't be filled when tech companies are laying off thousands?
But lets not give these immigrants a chance at the same dream our own grandparents and great-grandparents had.
Just close the borders and give everyone a gun, so we can have more mass shootings and thin out the herd of the population.

Kruture, I keep telling you don't try and explain it to them they can not see it for all the dimorat bs in their face. Just put a statement out there, picture or cartoon and let them go wild over it and blow their top. They will show exactly who they are and why.
Works every time. They know full well what is happening and what can stop it all. But that would require that they admit they and the resident in the wh were WRONG. The more and more the rules and polices hurt them as they do the rest of us the sooner they will come to realize how wrong they really were. I guess they are all content to want to live in a third world country.

Love him or Hate him, it matters not as he had no answers either. He did throw cruelty at the matter in the form of family separation and human cages. He reduced the administrative help necessary to process the overwhelming number of asylum seekers. He used the Title 42 covid policy as a restriction tool under the guise of societal health concerns.
If you liked that then we do have very different ideas on how to handle a humanitarian crisis.

As long as you have people from other countries fleeing persecution and human smugglers lying to them with false promises of acceptance you will have a tidal wave to deal with.
Immigration is a can kicked down the road by both parties and neither has come up with good solutions.
