May he RIP!

I would not have wanted him charging at me!! All muscle!

"The Enforcer" Big, Mean Dick Butkus, considered one of the greatest defensive players of all time, spent all nine of his NFL seasons from 1965-1973 with the Bears, earning eight Pro Bowls and five first-team All-Pro selections over that span.
He was also in "The Longest Yard" with Bert Reynolds......he even favors Reynolds to me.

He was a BEAST for the "MONSTERS OF THE MIDWAY" along with Doug Atkins and Joe Fortunato, but Butkus was the heart and soul of the Bears' defense.
On another note, don't know if you heard, 3 time All-Pro tight end Russ Francis died in a small plane crash this week, as well, he was 70...

I heard that about Russ Francis but had that name mixed up with Franco Harris. I just did not know anything about Francis. Thanks for the info.
