Trump is not in office, but he’s using his hold on the Republican Party to hold up border funding negotiations in Congress, kneecapping the federal government's ability to better address a situation widely viewed as a logistical nightmare and humanitarian crisis. In October, Biden sent an emergency funding request to Congress asking for more agents, officers and deportation flights. Congress has failed to act on anything border related so trump has something to run on for re-election. First reported in Time magazine.

And as America burns, Biden fiddles... President Biden is calling on the House to pass the Senate's bipartisan immigration bill. He's committed to signing it into law and solving a problem that's been plaguing our country for years. Meanwhile, former President Trump is urging his Republican allies to kill the bill and make the problem worse. Trump's goal is to sow chaos and division in our country, hoping to create an electorate that's so frustrated and angry that they'll accept an aspiring autocrat. It's time to take a stand against this destructive agenda. Therefore, your comparison of Nero's Rome with the current situation is flawed. If America burns, it is Trump who fiddles... He watches the fire but does nothing to stop it. Similar to what he did on January 6th. Learn from history, don't repeat its mistakes.

What about this situation do you fail to understand? It is as clear as an unmuddied lake. Why do you support a man determined to make it worse? bidet can't call his own name.....an idiot.... we see it here every day....you may not....but you will.... Every solution to a problem has to start with a single step forward. tRump wants to step back and watch the wildfire. Tell me, how does that help the border crises you constantly lament about? For the record, my sister lives in Tucson, 10 minutes from the border. When I visited this summer she drove me by a patrolled border crossing. That day I saw nothing but she said she had seen families, parents, and 2 or 3 kids crossing many times. Increasingly visible but all looked to her as exhausted and scared. No groups of men with transport trucks and sporting MS13 tattoos.
