Joe Lieberman 1942 - 2024

Joe Lieberman 1942 - 2024 , a former Connecticut senator who became the first Jewish American to be nominated as a vice presidential candidate on a major party’s ticket, has died at 82.
I did not always agree with Mr. Lieberman but did always enjoy listening to him speak. I thought he was a very good and effective orator. I liked his laid back style, always seemed well prepared and most knowledgeable. R.I.P. Senator Lieberman.....you will be missed.

His Jewish community are the ones that are really going to miss his support in the continuing anti Jewish environment.

I met Joe Lieberman when he was a US senator and had a meeting with him in his office. He was a real nice guy and had a solid firm handshake like myself. I discussed an issue with him and he picked up the phone called someone to look into the matter. His secretary Rose was a nice lady. I didn't always agree with him however he was nice to deal with. He would have been the Veep if Gore didn't push it. Oh well. RIP Joe.

Senator Lieberman was one of my favorite people. He was a great guy. I actually worked in his neighborhood for a few years. He was a good man and a man who did not compromise his faith. I thought he was eloquent and to the point and quite honest in all his interviews. He used to appear on a popular morning radio show frequently, but I can't remember the name of it. He will be missed.
