Recharging My Battery A study of people with physical disabilities rendered results that determined they were affected in a less negative way, with the pandemic than their fellow humans, who have no disability. The participants contributed this t.o the fact that they live at a social distance most of the time from other humans. In their lives, nothing has changed... Every once in a while, self care for me is self-isolation. Maybe this is why the pandemic restrictions bother me less than others. I think grief did me a favor during this time in making me seek the shelter of solitude in lieu of the exhausting exercise of interacting with people. At work, I have be an extrovert, personable, amicable, etc. So when I get home, I retreat my quiet place, t.o write, create, get absorbed in something that gives me satisfaction. It is battery recharge time. Most of the time, it includes my music. I can become completely immersed in my own little world... Shine On You Crazy Diamond Pink Floyd Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun Shine on you crazy diamond Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky Shine on you crazy diamond You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom Blown on the steel breeze Come on you target for faraway laughter Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon Shine on you crazy diamond Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light Shine on you crazy diamond Well you wore out your welcome with random precision Rode on the steel breeze Come on you raver, you seer of visions Come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine

Poetess, we all need time to recharge ourselves. It's one of the things that I learned from my Dad who told me you need to take the time to just spend with yourself and reflect on things.

Recharging is crucial for everyone. Might I suggest "Do You Live At All" by Alan Parsons?

Thankfully, such a recharge does not require an outlet to charge as and electric vehicle does. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"
