Credentials : Honesty Is The Best Policy  Age 28 The day I won the women's 8 Ball Championship in Billiards I felt like it was time for a little honesty. It could be one of those Jerry Maguire moments, when he wrote the memo...Then he showed up at work and everyone loathed him? Yup, this could be that very thing. My fear precedes me, even though speaking my truth is imminent.(that's my typical sarcasm FY  Ever since being ass.aul.ted, when an avid reader read my blog, and decided to commit the R word on me, I have been very careful. Stories have developed with characters, and a bit of handwriting craft on them, to mask if they were me or not. This has been a safety measure to keep me safer. But, in a world where the terr.orists exist, I am resolved to stop fearing them. I do not feel right about hiding from them anymore. Therefore, this is your insider key to what you find here, on Poetic Pussy Craft. Everything on the blog is written by me, unless otherwise noted. First, let's discuss characters: Sasha - Based on my life in my twenties and thirties, complete with exotic dancing, bikers chasing, and pool sharking. Being a hustler and living in the drug world for a time - lots of drama and street skills. Lastly, based on also being a single mother and cleaning up, straightening out the mess. I know, its amazing I survived and I am grateful for that. Isabelle - Based on my life for the time period since my husband/master passed while I have been working through grief and trying out other relationships. This included a short stint as a Pro D She is the character in my book I am consistently writing and tweaking. Songs on posts - Music was my first career choice. Was a musician in college with a major in recording and sound engineering and a minor in voice. I had always been a performer in the arts including music, dance, and drawing/painting. Fronted a few bands before dedicating myself to hair. I am a literal music geek. (My grandfather was a ragtime piano player in speakeasies and my won the mandolin scholarship from Junior Appalachian musicians. The genetic river runs deep.) I still sing on occasion on stage, all the time while working, hanging out. Know more lyrics than anyone I know  Poetry - My father was a beatnik and an English Lit Professor. He wrote for, as well as was editor, for a political underground magazine in Washington DC in the 60's, called Outcry. He made me look up anything I asked of him and mentored my creative writing throughout early years. I credit him completely for this skill. Submission - Started for me before I could remember, was just always that way. I am submissive to naturally Dominant, strong men who are Daddy Doms, just turned out that way. I do have slave tendencies equal to my bratty ones. Gee, that's a shocker! Have always been dominant with women, probably a product of desiring them and yet not putting up with their bullshit. My father was the first natural Dom I knew. He was handsome, had multiple talents including cooking gourmet, being refined, dressing to the nines and dancing. He loved art and music and wrote his prose with acumen. Well spoken and intelligent. Truly a Renaissance man. I came to the local community at 32 but I was already aware of what I was. Currently, I am writing, Pro D, and awaiting disability for some health issues related to my profession. I am a retired 34 year licensed hair colorist, stylist extension and makeup artist. Master certified colorist American Board of certified Hair Colorists, Winner of Wella Artistic Competition. Master certified in all hair extension applications and was Artistic Director of salons in Boulder and Charlotte. I have done magazine cover work, web site model work. I ran an event company with international sponsorship all across the US for 10 years to help people with food allergies, because of my . Met Emeril Lagasse and cooked with his Was on NPR radio as a guest with the Chef on assignment for Johnson and Wales to discuss Celiac Disease. Appeared on many TV news programs, podcasts, radio shows about it as well. And chartered the first youth group for it in Charlotte. All with my late husband/master's support and encouragement. Off that, shot meeting one of the Mountain Men, Eustace Conway. The book Last American Man, written by the woman who wrote Eat, Pray, Love, was about him. I helped him on his camp on his mountain in the mountains of NC. I cooked for his campers at Turtle Island Preserve, a bit of heaven and a whole lot of work. He was one of the most interesting people in my life and taught me many things. Look him up on the tube under Reconvergence. Beyond that, I also have lived many places, traveled to far more. My Doms have been from other places including Norway, Uk, Australia, and Canada. Only 1 American dom. That used to be the joke/game with friends, Guess where Nikki is going next ?..I have been all over this nation of the US, the Caribbean and Bahamas, Europe and Scandinavia. Perhaps this is why I connect with people in other countries or maybe I just don't think like an American People say I am a highly artistic, creative, intelligent woman. Perhaps so, but being so artistic and creative makes it hard to relate to people sometimes. However, it is only if they are shallow or trivial. I am a loner and always have been, because I can entertain myself in any number of ways. Such an interesting "resume" you have there, Missy! I enjoy all of your writings and you know I smile at the adventures of Sasha and Isabelle. I'll bet your Dad was quite the sight when he dressed to the nines. I can't be believe you mentioned Mountain Men! I love to watch that show and Eustace is such a great personality. I can't believe how he takes all that old machinery and re-engineers to adapt to what he needs. Plus, the episode when he helped his new young neighbors truly endeared him to me.

Eustace is so interesting. I started his twitter account and ran it a while. Worked with the students at Appalachian State Uni to make a fundraiser for his camp. They still hold it "Families Learning Together" in the Spring every year. I also ran the kitchen anytime he needed me to. Almost reminds me of the hippies except he is spiritual and does not allow pot /alcohol on the premises. But those stories on reality TV, totally enhanced, exaggerated and not how he is lol sorry. He is nice and all that, but he does that so his camp stays viable
