A Hero's Last Dance  You may remember my story about my mother's friend. the Vietnam Vet....Whom I take care of? Well, he left this earth last night and won't return. It was almost midnight when he let go. A sudden cardiac arrest took him.... I'm gonna miss Don "Vader". That was what I called him because of how his CPAP sounded at night. I'll miss him watching Gunsmoke for the 160th time. I'll miss him making jokes and being pleasant. I'll miss him appreciating my food and his care. So sorry and this warrior was one of the best. Whatever your thoughts of John Wayne are his movie "The Green Berets" was one of my favorites. When I read your post I could hear The Ballad of the Green Beret in the background
