If there are guys on here sending out 1000 pounds to people on the Internet the world is doomed - amazing. I used to think that the real tell of how corrupt this place is was this: there are obvious scam accounts now (they have become prevalent in the last 6 months) that have GOLD status. I used to think no scammer is going to invest in a GOLD account, and since ALT no longer gives out free GOLD accounts to "standard" women, these GOLD accounts must become active by an agreement with ALT themselves. ALT gives free GOLD accounts to known scamming organizations.

I used to think this.

But if it is common for desperate fools to send out 1,000 $/pounds, then GOLD accounts are a bargain.

Either way, that's the prime activity here -- certainly not meeting actual people who want to meet and have the sexual equipment to do so.

It just seems worse every day. The IM is totally worthless and literally the whole state of Florida is nothing but fakes and scammers (there are some real guys). Way in the past, you would at least see some new people join/check out the site on weekends. Not anymore. Totally dead except for some old bloggers who will not give up.

I don't know if its the same person, but I wrote to a Sarah B for over a year until she said she was going away to NWU. She continued writing for a while but then stopped all together after saying her father somehow got into her phone and told her to stop writing to me or he'd cut off her college money.

Online you never know. A LOT of fakes and flakes. Tomorrow was suppose to my SarahB's birthday. 23 I think.

My wife Maggie and I have met over 15 real live Altoids in places as far away as Australia over the years. Actually, we have NEVER had someone we went to meet actually turn out to be a fake. The last new person we met was over ten years ago, so maybe times have changed, with all the "fake news" circulating in this wide world of liars and scammers. Or maybe we have just had D.F.L. (Dumb fucking luck.) Whatever reason for batting 1,000, we are still in contact (and visit) some of the people we met on Alt so we got our money's worth from this site.*

*We're both standard members, Haven't paid them a cent in the 13 years we've been visiting the site.

On Facebook they have a Black Sales group which is a place you can post regarding sales of things you have been involved with on Facebook Marketplace where someone has acted badly - things that didn't work, things that turned out to be stolen, people who jacked up price at the last minute, people who don't show for meets, etc.
If ALT is unwilling to act responsibly or put up a forum place to post these things, someone should go on one of the other sites around, like facebook, and start a group called "ALT Fakes and F-Ups" where you could post by the offenders profile name and people could check out a profile before putting in a lot of energy. It could gain notariety on ALT by people posting in their profile or their status "Member of FB group "Alt Fakes" to get the word out and to make fakes avoid contacting them as they don't want their deeds to become public knowledge.
