Its hard to know but think its mostly alt that doesnt let the IMs through even when its shows it read or delivered.

This sadly happens alot, ive lost alot of points responding to msg's seeing "read' but getting no further responses.

If i am conversing with someone i never answer IM....it is not courteous...and the person I am chatting with is my priority at the moment....

I think it takes a while for the site to delete those that aren't actually on the IM, plus like erotically said, they won't chat with more than on, or the system isn't working.

a little of both and maybe they don't have points to answer. Given this new 'points' nonsense, I rarely - if ever - IM anyone who isn't a Gold member. Exactly! Even then, it's hit and miss whether or not the IM is functioning properly. In a nutshell, the IM sucks. In a nutshell, the site sucks. Make Women Female Again

to be honest. i think alt had deliberately stolen about 160 points from me, if they dont answer the points should not be deducted. imo, what a crime racket

Maybe you also should not think the worst of it.... I know, I know, it is almost impossible to NOT think the worst of it! Sometimes people have their laptop/ computer on, but are bussy with doing all kind of other stuff, like living their lifes…… Dont check IM all the time? It IS a possibility?? Alt sometimes dont send the message back and forth…. Or all of a sudden you are kicked out? All is possible!

I check the Florida area every now and then for women on the IM and it is 99.99% fake. I seldom get any response and if I do get an answer the person is an obvious fake or not serious. If you are looking for a women, this website is truly a waste and we are crazy to think otherwise.

Often I send an introduction and it says “sent”, so it appears that it hasn’t been “delivered” or read”. So many are fake as said previously, right away they want to chat on hangouts then the money request comes.

Something I've noticed that may be seen as either a tip or just plain annoying is that if you send a message and it comes up and says "Delivered" virtually immediately, then it's failed. Once it's done that , it doesn't matter how many times you try again, it will always fail. If it takes a 2 or 3 seconds to say "Delivered", then chances are it's got through. It doesn't guarantee a reply obviously but that's down to the other person - you can't blame alt if they're busy or ignoring you. The only solution I've found that SOMETIMES works is logging out completely and then logging back in. xx  "People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do."

I've noticed this a lot recently. And since signing up to Silver Membership, I'm not even getting "Delivered", just blank message. tried contacting customer services but it just brings you to a Help landing page. Very frustrating.
