Twisted thank you for the movie review and the comparison with BDSM real world lifestyles. Having NEVER seen this flick I'm surely in the minority around here- and the way you describe it doesn't seem like any BDSM clubs I've ever been exposed to.... Oooooooooooo being at the mercy of a sociopath with control issues is quite SCARY

consent is a truly gray (no pun intended) area it's definition varies from state to state and country to country. Most states in the USA state that torture and bodily harm negates consent, but it's rarely cited by prosecution because it's typically so vague, just outlining that legally, one can't consent to being assaulted.. so the defense likely just replies with 'it's not assault' so it's typically not cited at all.

I saw the trilogy and it drove me crazy to keep watching... Such bullshit! But was it steamy enough for all those housewives and students in suburbia?? I did read 2 books of that garbage. I lent it from the libary, did not want to spend one dime on such puke... Did not see the movie, friends of my wanted to go and have a good laugh, and fuck it up, for the horny vanillas, going to that movie.... i did not want to go. It was as bad as it was, allready I didnt want to financial support such a shit. There was never any consent in the whole book, if *you* dont know what consent means?! I know a lot of women ended up on the Emergency Room, and did not want to have anything to do, with SM ever again! Also, not everyone equals sex with SM. Sex is not SM and SM is not having sex, you can mix them, but that is not a 'natural' order of things. Yeah, there are a lot of sociophates/ narcists on here, and other sites, too Also, the 'contract' thing? That is a fetish, it does not say a thing about the relation... or power/authority transfer. Like getting in that slave register, that too, is a fetish. fulfilling your fetishes is not having a D/s or a M/s, as i see it......

Never took the time for such a deep analysis as it was just a purely shitty fucking movie, in my opinion. I don't think anyone with any experience in the lifestyle puts any kind of stock into that garbage anyways. Here's my ten cents, my two cents is free... I've heard that somewhere before!
