Feelings about Roleplay in relationships

For an explanation of the options- 1. No roleplay at all, just who we are ourselves. 2. Set dressing, more or less. Just the fun of wearing a slutty halloween costume to entertain your partner, or being entertained by your partner dressing up as a sexy bumblebee or something. 3. Playing superficially with context, casually. Essentially using terms like "Daddy" as endearment, not character or role. 4. What I'd term as Once the Front Door Is Closed- that is to say actually engaging as character in specific settings- the bedroom, the basement, the barn for example. In those settings, roleplay rules apply, and character is maintained as completely as possible, within bounds of legality and safety. 5. Becoming that character in truth, 100% of the time. 24/7. As completely as possible, within bounds of legality and safety.

	Common themes or tropes
	Full character in prearranged settings
	Full adoption of a set role in daily life

Some role play, can bleed into daily life with non kinky folks. Have seen this happen with some Gorian role players who let the lingo and some actions affect their day to day life.

i think just being in a bdsm lifestyle by definition is role play. someone is Dom and someone submissive and by definition these are roles yiu choose to play whether they are just for a play session or a full time life choice , they are roles
