a lack of response is not a lack of respect A couple of people asked me why I don't respond much to comments anymore. It used to be if someone said something complimentary I would at least thank them but I don't really do that anymore. I used to respond to other types of comments as well but part of the reason I stopped is because the people I was responded to seem to disappear and along with them the comment thread. That means I wasted my time because obviously the things we both said get deleted. I don't like wasting my time. The other reason is kind of one I revealed in a recent post. I don't spend much time in big girl headspace and am usually pretty eager to get back to regressing. I really do like the comments people leave but between posting and checking and responding to personal messages and stuff I get to the comments and just want to accept them and leave it at that. Unless something really needs to be responded to I think it's enough to read what is said and simply enjoy it or take it in or contemplate it or whatever. Hopefully since it's my blog and my life and my time I am allowed to do that. If I don't respond to your comment don't take that to mean I don't appreciate it or didn't read it and believe me if I was offended or bothered I would just delete it myself. You are appreciated and I thank you for taking the time in advance. Kisses !!! |

Good. I was wondering for a moment why you hardly ever respond, and if you don't like what we comment. Just an idea though: If you respond to comments more, you might get more, if that is of any interest to you. Will rank your blog higher. When you come to a fork in the road, take it. __Yogi Berra

Agreed. Further, I don't see that anyone here "owes" anything to anyone else here ... except perhaps courtesy and respect. But those are somehow less common online than in person.

Punkin, I like a lot of what you post, and for most I do make comments, because I like to show you that what you write does matter to me and other people. The thing is that because I watch your blog, and hit the 'Watch Post' when I read something interesting I never get to see replies, just other's comments. I have about 9 of your posts that I have marked to watch, but nothing appears in the follow up. So should I stop 'Watching your Posts' and accept that you are not going to make follow up comments if someone says something interesting? If this is the case then perhaps I should stop following what you have to say. Not a problem doing that.

"If I don't respond to your comment don't take that to mean I don't appreciate it or didn't read it and believe me if I was offended or bothered I would just delete it myself. You are appreciated and I thank you for taking the time in advance. Kisses !!!" That seems reasonable.

THEpunkin replies on 10/14/2022 10:00 am: I actually thought of you while writing the post. I'm not really invested in getting more attention I just do this for fun. People have told me all kinds of ways to game the system but I just want to be me and if people see I am happy and if they don't maybe someday they will. Your particular comments are always kind and supportive and appreciated. Thank you! xo thank you for your kind words! I always enjoy reading your blog posts, too. They are considerate, interesting and very often just outright sexy and hot, certainly when you include pictures of you! You have a very beautiful body, and I envy your Daddy playing with it. Since now you said that you've been thinking of me when you wrote this post, (sorry I don't remember!), did I say at any time that I would like to receive replies from you? I did not mean to draw you out into adult zone more than you need to be, so, sorry for that. But it is nice to be able to read a reply from you for sure! Stay awesome and keep on posting! When you come to a fork in the road, take it. __Yogi Berra
