too cold for comfort Like it or not winter is officially here and with it lots of cold and wetness. Since I’m the kind of kiddo that doesn’t really like to wear much clothing this is a tough time for me. Add the fact that Daddy and I get S.A.D. from the lack of sunlight and you can guess I don’t like the winter months much. Heck we don’t even celebrate the holidays so I can’t really look forward to that either. What this means is we will be spending lots of time inside which is fine. Most of you regular readers know that even during the summer Papa and I don’t go out much. We are just antisocial introverts who are quite content to be with each other and have created a super comfy living space. We don’t feel a strong desire to go out and be social and we don’t feel the need to escape our home. I think we’re pretty lucky because for the next few months I doubt we’ll leave except to go to the grocery store and maybe thrift store shopping. Money has been tight recently so we’re being smart about our spending. Our home is always a temperature that’s comfortable enough for us to be naked and that means our heating bill is going to go up a bunch. My Father is skinny and he says no matter what I have to be able to run around the house naked or at least scantily clad. It’s amazing how after years of this he still finds me that attractive and even more amazing that I still get so highly aroused traipsing around in socks and a t-shirt or something. I cannot imagine spending a few months lounging around in pajamas or sweats even though I know they’d be super comfortable and snuggly. My preference is to be on the couch or in the kitchen naked not covered up. Even when we go to bed we don’t wear pajamas and often we end up kicking the covers off during the night so having the room nice and toasty is important. I’m just thankful we have this level of compatibility because I’ve heard of people who sleep with the window open in their bedroom and that sounds awful. Give me warmth and sunshine whenever possible. |
